A troubling video has surfaced on social media depicting a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) soldier being brutally attacked by a group of Kanwariyas, who are pilgrims participating in the Kanwar Yatra, at a railway station in Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh.

The footage shows around 10 to 12 Kanwariyas launching a physical assault on the CRPF jawan, reportedly in the presence of his young child amidst a crowded train station. Eyewitness accounts confirm the shocking nature of the attack.
Assault in Front of His Child
Reports indicate that the soldier, identified as Gautam from Khutha village, was at the station awaiting the Brahmaputra Mail train to Manipur, a region currently experiencing heightened tensions. He was accompanied by his minor son during the incident.
Escalation of Conflict
Witnesses claim that a verbal dispute between Gautam and some Kanwariyas quickly escalated into a violent confrontation. The video captures the moment when the group overpowered Gautam, delivering kicks and punches as he fell to the ground. Despite his son's attempts to help him, the assault continued.
Arrests Made
Following the incident, local railway police apprehended seven individuals involved in the attack, as the video gained widespread attention online, prompting public outrage.
